The current blog discusses about our experiences during Trial pit investigation at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani
One of the first challenges that we face when conducting trail pit testing is equipment and access. To excavate a trail pit, we need to use heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and dump trucks. The size and type of equipment required depend on the size and depth of the pit we are digging. The equipment needs to be brought to the site and set up, which can be challenging if the site is in a remote area or has difficult terrain. The site was fortunately accessible and the movement of vehicles was easy during the process of execution.
Another challenge that we face when conducting trail pit testing is safety. We need to ensure that the site is safe for our workers and that the excavation does not pose any risk to the surrounding area or structures. The safety precautions were properly followed at the site during the execution and no such unfortunate incidents took place at the site during the trail pit.
